Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 9, 2026
FH Development Studio ("we," "us") built WordGuess as a local, offline word game. This policy is short because the app does very little with data.
What we collect
Nothing. WordGuess makes no network requests, includes no analytics or advertising SDKs, and has no user accounts. There is nothing to collect because the app has no way to send data anywhere.
What's stored on your device
Your game history and statistics (words played, win/loss record, streaks, and your hard-mode/settings preferences) are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not visible to FH Development Studio or any third party
- Is deleted if you delete the app
- Is included in your device's standard iCloud/iTunes backups if you have those enabled (governed by Apple's own backup privacy practices, not ours)
Third parties
WordGuess uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks of any kind.
Children's privacy
WordGuess does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, for the same reason stated above: it collects no data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes (for example, a future update adds an online feature), this page will be updated and the effective date above will change accordingly.
